The summer and festival season has finally come to the north. The trees are green and the flowers are in bloom and there is music in the air. We are so excited to be getting on the road and celebrating community and music and life with you in the coming months! TSG is performing at some of our favourite festivals this summer and we can't wait to see you all there!
We just returned from the land of the midnight sun where we performed at the Kluane Mountain Bluegrass Festival in Haines-Junction, Yukon. Our second time there, we again had an amazing time singing and sharing old and new songs for the good people up there.
July and August has us touring coast to coast. July 1st, Canada Day!!, TSG will be heading to Washington, DC to perform at the Kennedy Centre on the Millennium Stage. So many of our heroes have performed on this legendary stage, we are over the moon to have been invited to sing on this stage. July 2, we'll be at The Tin Pan in Richmond, VA. July 8th we're at the Almonte Celtic Festival just outside of Ottawa where we will be joining legendary artists like The Barra MacNeils and Lynne Miles for a weekend of amazing music. https://almonteceltfest.com
July 14 & 15 we are playing shows close to home. Poor Michael's Emporium in Onanole on the Friday and the Heritage Home for the Arts on the Saturday.
August 5 & 6 TSG is on PEI at the Route 11 Festival. This beautiful festival happens in one of the most glorious places on the planet. Wellington, PEI right on the ocean. You do not want to miss this festival. It will change your life. http://festivalroute11.com/en/home
August 11-13 we'll be heading west to Robson Valley Folk Festival. This will be our first time at this festival and we cannot wait to get to this one. https://www.rvmf.ca/#/
August 17 we are on the Memorial Park Bandshell in Port Hope, Ontario
August 18 to 20 we are at Summerfolk in Owen Sound, Ontario. This is one of our favorite festivals in the whole wide world. A place where we all come together at the end of the summer to celebrate the sights, smells and sounds of the season all wrapped up in this one brilliant festival.
